Born and raised in Ypsilanti, Michigan, I was raised by a single mother who taught me the importance of hard work, independence, and pursuing my ambitions. Following in her footsteps, I graduated from the University of Michigan with a bachelor’s degree in Economics.

I always knew I wanted to build something of my own. When I asked myself what truly makes me happy — what I could wake up excited to do every day — the answer was always makeup artistry. After graduating, I pursued professional makeup training, became a certified makeup artist, and took a leap of faith to turn a lifelong passion into a business.

The name Cademin holds a special place in my heart. Growing up, my mom affectionately called me “Cademin,” combining my first name, Cadence, and my middle name, Minuet. It represents my roots, my family, and the person behind the brand.

My approach centers on enhancing each client’s natural features while bringing their personal vision to life — from soft, effortless glam to a more defined full-glam look. Every appointment is a personalized experience, and I want every client to feel beautiful, comfortable, and confident.
